New Vanity Top Hits a Perfect Note on Style and Easy Upkeep

Vanity tops are usually found at either end of the scale, with choices limited to faux stone or the pricey real thing.

American Standard’s new Newbern Vanity Top hits a perfect middle note. It is the first integral sink/vanity top made of vitreous china, the same durable, affordable material used for toilets and sinks.

“Consumers love vitreous china sinks because they are easy to clean and always look polished and new,” said Tom Santer, product director for sinks. “American Standard was able to design a sink/vanity top that could be manufactured with vitreous china to fit standard 30-inch vanities.”

The Newbern Vanity Top is predrilled for 4-inch centerset or minispread faucets. Seamless, it includes an oval bowl and 1-inch backsplash. The Newbern Vanity Top is available in White and has a suggested list price of $225.
