Eisenhart Introduces Terrazzo™ The First Wallcovering Collection Printed on Paperez™

Terrazzo™, a new collection from Eisenhart Wallcoverings Co. making its debut this month, is the first to be printed on Paperez™ (pronounced paper-ease), Eisenhart's revolutionary new wallcovering material.

Terrazzo is a 27-inch wide collection of sought-after textural looks; patterns drawn from nature, and rich, environmental colors.

A carefully edited collection that invites individual interpretation, Terrazzo will complement and enhance many of today's interior styles. It is ideally suited to casual, yet sophisticated interiors where textures such as leather, chenille, silk, jute and distressed woods provide visual and tactile interest and create warm and comfortable environments.

The patterns include:

Stripes.
Leaves and vines.
Marble, mosaic and stone looks, along with scrolls influenced by classical architectural details.
Soft and subtle harlequins with the look of washed canvas.
A delicate grass motif that hints at Asian influences.
Pencil-like sketches of single stems of poppies that could be retro or a modern interpretation of toile.

With matching borders for many of the patterns, plus a large color palette -- atmosphere blue, bamboo, birch white, chocolate, clay red, deep coral, sage, sycamore green, tangerine and terra cotta --Terrazzo promises to be a versatile resource for decorating inspiration.

Terrazzo is being introduced at a time when there are signs of renewed interest in wallcovering. "People are getting tired of only having texture," said Gina Shaw, vice president of design for Eisenhart. "They are ready to have more interesting walls and consequently we are seeing a resurgence of color and pattern."

For those who still aren't ready for an all-over pattern, the Terrazzo collection includes a number of textural looks, making it possible to have the appearance of a multi-layer paint treatment with less effort and expense -- and with consistently high quality results, Shaw pointed out.

Because Terrazzo is printed on Paperez, it has a rich, fabric feel that complements the textural qualities of the designs.

Terrazzo will appeal to today's homeowners and designers for more than its good looks. Because it is printed on Paperez, Terrazzo is an easy decorating choice. Paperez uses a unique paste-the-wall application method that is neat, quick and easy. And Paperez is easy to remove when a change is desired because it is completely dry strippable and comes off in full sheets.
