Transform Your Living Room From Ordinary To Extraordinary With PaperIllusion® Faux Finish From Village

If you can tear paper, you can decorate your walls with this unusual and fashionable faux finish. Innovative PaperIllusion wall decor from Village gives you the look of an expensive, handcrafted faux marble or stone finish, but at a fraction of the price. And best of all, you can do it yourself!

PaperIllusion® gives you a unique, torn-paper look that is as easy as it is elegant—you don’t need any messy paints, pricey tools or costly contractors. The durable paper is printed with a marbleized design and offered in nine beautiful colors, including Multi, Cream & Bone, Fresco Green, Granite, Blush, Blue, Champagne, Green and Bronze. You’ll be amazed at how quickly and easily PaperIllusion® can transform a room.

Just follow these three simple steps:or view the PaperIllusion video.

  • Tear the paper randomly into irregular, stone-like shapes. Tear larger pieces first (approximately 8-by-12 inches) and then tear smaller pieces as needed.
  • Dip pieces of PaperIllusion in water, making sure the entire pasted side is wet. Allow excess water to drip off into the container.
  • Apply PaperIllusion to your wall.
  • Smooth Use a smoothing tool to remove excess water and wipe with a slightly moistened sponge. Place the second piece of PaperIllusion so that its edges slightly overlap the first piece.

The only limit is your imagination!

- PaperIllusion can be applied over any clean, flat, dry surface, including walls, ceilings, doors and cabinets.

-PaperIllusion is washable, easy-care and great for damaged or uneven walls.

-PaperIllusion is designed to be random—no need to worry about plumb lines, seam rollers or complicated pattern matching.

- A PaperIllusion box contains 85 square feet of paper, or enough to do a 9-by-10 foot wall. Instructions are included and a how-to video is available.

PaperIllusion® is also easy to remove:

  • Simply moisten with warm water, repeating until the pieces peel off.
  • You can use leftover pieces of PaperIllusion to create your own coordinating craft projects and home accessories, including scrapbooks, picture frames, lampshades, room screens, storage boxes and more.
